Trainers need to take care of their health more than a patient

“Who will be taking care of you when you get sick?” This is one of those few questions that a very curious student asked will definitely ask his/her trainer and you have to admit that at some point in your life you have asked that very same question. And maybe, it is also safe to assume that the trainers have asked that to themselves.

Surely, a trainer will undergo a series of checkups or seek advice to another medical specialist for a certain health condition if he is experiencing symptoms of such health-related problem/s. But before reaching to that consultation part, where a trainer goes through a series of medical checkups and consultations, he will definitely try first to prevent himself into getting sick.

“Yes, it is much more important for trainers to be in good shape and be leading a healthy life for their patients to follow. They must be more conscious in keeping themselves healthy and fit than their own patients because it is what is expected of them by the society” says Vince Delmonte – author of no nonsense muscle building. In addition to that, once a trainer has a health-related concerns or experiencing illness that might be cause or triggered by his ignorance of habits that has health hazards, there is a higher possibility that a patient will not believe him anymore and it is important for a trainer to gain their patient’s trust.

Also, it is innate for patients depend to their trainers and most of the time it is odd for trainers to become one of those patients but that is something to be expected. Though, it is indeed inevitable, there’s always a greater chance to prevent it from happening too soon. If trainers will follow what they advised to their patients, with extra care and greater attention, asking for the help their colleagues in the medical field will take quite some time to happen.
